REVOLVER. Cal. 31. S# 359. Scarce revolver measuring 9" overall in standard configuration, 4" octagonal barrel, 5-shot decorated cylinder, unique feature of folding trigger guard functioning as loading arm, 2-line address & patents on left side of barrel. This was a rather expensive arm in its day and survivors are scarce. Mounted with varnished burl grips. CONDITION: good overall, restored cylinder pin, fine function, good rifled bore. (01-28533/JS).
